Goodsbase operates Goodsbase collections and is responsible for the customer information described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@goodsbase.ca.

Information we collect and why

When you check out, we collect your name, email, shipping address, order selections and payment status to process payment, prepare and deliver your order, provide support and handle returns or refunds. We also retain transaction references and order totals for business records, accounting and preventing fraud. If you email us, we receive the information you include.

Payments and production partners

Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout. Goodsbase does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe processes payment and device information under its privacy policy.

To fulfill your order, we share the necessary order and delivery information with Printify, the selected print provider and shipping carriers. Hosting, payment, email and production providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. We may disclose records when legally required. We do not sell customer information or upload customer lists to advertising platforms.

Cart storage and advertising

The storefront uses your browser’s local storage to remember cart selections and a pending checkout reference. You can clear this through your browser settings. Goodsbase currently has no Meta Pixel, cross-site advertising tracker or marketing analytics script on its storefronts. Ads on Meta are governed by Meta’s own privacy practices. Stripe may use cookies or similar technology on its checkout for payments, security and fraud prevention. Our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and secure the service.

Keeping information safe and retaining records

Order records are held on our server with restricted access. We keep information as needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. These records are not automatically erased when a cart is cleared. We review deletion requests against those obligations; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may contact info@goodsbase.ca to request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about retention or deletion, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained, and withdrawing information needed to fulfill an order may prevent us from completing it. We use order contact details for service communications; a purchase does not subscribe you to promotional emails.

We will update this page when our practices change and seek additional consent where required before using information for a new purpose.
